Several of my family and friends are either gluten intolerant or Celiac. A family favorite campfire food is bush pies. Problem is, one of the main ingredients is bread. Bannock Recipe
Most things just taste better cooked over an open fire or that perfect bed of coals - Bannock is one of them.
